What time should I arrive at the pier?

Please arrive at Dock 5 (Vigadó tér, 1051 Budapest) at least 20 minutes before your scheduled departure. Boarding closes 5 minutes before we cast off — the Danube schedule doesn't wait.

Where exactly is boarding?

All cruises leave from Dock 5 on Vigadó tér, on the Pest embankment between the Chain Bridge and the Elisabeth Bridge. Look for the Mahart Passnave ticket office and the illuminated pier sign. Metro line M1 (Vörösmarty tér) is a 3-minute walk away.

How do I validate my ticket or voucher?

Accepted Answer

Bring your reservation reference code (starts with MP-…) or your printed voucher. Show it at the ticket office kiosk 20 minutes before departure; staff will exchange it for a boarding pass. Digital confirmations on your phone are accepted.

What should I bring?

Your reservation code, a photo ID for group discounts, and a light layer — even summer evenings on the water are cooler than shore. Cameras welcome. Cash and cards both accepted onboard.

Do you sail if it rains?

Yes — all boats have covered lower decks and heated interiors. Only extreme weather (fog, high water, ice) cancels a departure; in that case we rebook you or refund in full.

What's your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 4 hours before departure. Cancel from your confirmation email or by calling the reservation line. Weather cancellations by us are always fully refunded.

Is the boat accessible?

Accepted Answer

Our main sightseeing boats have step-free access to the lower deck and an accessible restroom. Please let us know when booking so we can prepare boarding assistance.

Are children welcome?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Children under 12 sail at 50% off; under-3s are free. Family cabins and quieter departures (10:00, 14:00) are best for young travellers.
